Overall, the garden has prospered very well over the summer...
My expectations ended up being less then what I thought we were going to get.
The cucumber plant has spread nicely over the box along with the beans.
The lettuce and peppers did not grow as well.
Looking forward to how the tomatoes and sunflowers turn out!! :)

At summer's end....




Really growing nicely.  Hope to have a few more tomatoes soon.  Learned a lot about gardening this year.  I will be ready with more fertilizer next time!

In the beginning....




This is what the space looks like now.  In a few weeks, it will be a community garden.  With the help of Emilo F. (who will be building the beds) and some weeding by Kelly  and some donated seeds from Designs by Lee, we will start our garden.  Projected start date is May 2011.  Stay tuned....
